Bit - Binary Digit
A bit (short for binary digit) is the smallest unit of data in a computer. A bit has a single binary value, either 0
or 1. A Bit can often be referred to as a kilobit (Kb or 1000 bits) megabit (Mb or 1,000,000 bits) and also gigabit (Gb or 1,000,000,000 bits)
